Immediate opening for a SOLO Non CDL Truck Driver and we want the right Trucker to join us at Ryder in Rochester, MN

  • Driver Positions Pay Weekly
  • Hourly Pay: $22.53 Per Hour
  • Hours Per Week: 40 + hours per week
  • Sign On Bonus: Pays you $750 at 30 days and $750 at 90 days
  • Safety Bonus: Pays You $300 Four Times A Year, Every Quarter if eligible
  • Paid Training
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday NO WEEKENDS
  • Start Time: 5:00 AM; Except for Wednesdays 4:00 AM start

 

Ryder Drivers Service the Route, not the Truck. All Drivers have 24/7 Roadside Maintenance by a Ryder Trained Technician plus Service Employees fuel up our trucks at all 800+ Maintenance Facilities. 

  • Deliver SOLO To: MN, WI, & IA - 150 mile radius 
  • Route: Local Home Daily
  • Tractor Type: Box Truck 
  • Equipment: Pallet Jack, Lift Gate, & Hand Truck
  • Freight: Touch – Telecommunication equipment – Reels of cable, modems, internet supplies

Requirements

  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Minimum of 9 months of verifiable driving experience
  • Pass a Ryder Drug Test
  • Must have verifiable driving experience in like equipment:
    • 9 Months experience in the past 3 years, OR 
    • 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR
    • 5 years' experience within the last 10 years 
  • Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Pass a Ryder road test
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
  • Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
  • Important Note:  Additional requirements may be required in different locations and/or accounts.

Responsibilities

  • This position is primarily responsible for safely driving a vehicle within and requires compliance with safety regulations, continuous training and customer service.
  • Additional Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
  • Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
  • Maintaining accurate records Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
  • Other tasks as assigned
