Immediate opening for a Dedicated Regional Class A CDL Truck Driver in Springfield, OR and we want the right Driver to join us at Ryder.

You might be wondering what your paycheck will look like. 

 

$1500 or more per week - And it gets better

 

  • Average Work Week 35 - 60 Hours
  • Miles Pay: $0.65 per Mile with 1600 Miles Per Week All Miles Paid
  • Stops Pay: $24.00 per Stop with 12 Stops per Week
  • Per Diem Pay: $28.00 per night 2 - 4 nights per Week
  • Sign On Bonus: Pays you $1000 at 30 days and $1000 at 90 days
  • Paid Training 

 

Ryder Drivers Service the Route, not the Truck. All Drivers have 24/7 Roadside Maintenance by a Ryder Trained Technician  

 

  • Deliver SOLO To: OR, WA, ID, MT
  • Route: Regional 
  • Tractor Type: Sleeper 
  • Trailer Type: 24', 31', 48' and 53' Dry Van
  • Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful
  • Equipment: Manual Pallet Jack and Lift Gate
  • Endorsements: Hazmat - Within 90 Days of Hire
  • We Reimburse Cost to Obtain Endorsements and Provide Training
  • Freight: Touch - Hardware Retail Deliveries
  • Driving in inclement weather and chaining required

Requirements

  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Pass a Ryder Drug Test
  • Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Pass a Ryder road test
  • Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
  • Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
    • 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
    • 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
    • 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
  • Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
  • Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Important Note:  Additional requirements may be required in different locations and/or accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
  • Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
  • Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
  • Performs other duties as assigned
